About Us

As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve constantly strived to learn and understand how they communicate so that I can live with them as companions, and not just housemates. Raised in a household with a menagerie of critters - dogs, rabbits, birds, reptiles, fish, and more – my childhood dream was to build a career in an animal-related field. My passion for cats specifically came around in my teens when we began fostering special needs felines, and mama cats needing loving homes to raise their kittens.

Trying to find my way in the world, I noticed a lack of support for owners who have difficult felines. Dog owners can seek out veterinarians, online forums, and a plethora of dog trainers, while cat owners only have vets and the internet widely available to them. Veterinary behaviorists exist, but they can be so few and far between, it can be difficult to get support in a timely manner. That’s where myself and other Cat Trainers and Behaviorists can come in.

Purrfect Harmony Coaching was born out of my deep love for cats and my desire to help cat owners build strong, lasting relationships with their feline companions. With a focus on positive reinforcement with a least-invasive, minimally aversive approach, I am dedicated to fostering understanding, communication, and nurturing the human-animal bond.

Alongside my hands-on experience, I have earned certificates in Cat Training, Pet Nutrition and Diet, and Pet Massage. Continuously striving to enhance my knowledge and expertise, I am eagerly preparing to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Animal Behavior with a specialization in Companion Animals in the Fall of 2024. I also volunteer at the Minneapolis Animal Care and Control in my spare time.

By my side in this journey is Thumper, my marvelous pirate kitty (he is missing one eye); Tater Tot, my adventurous Crested Gecko and my various fish. Outside of working with animals, you can find me in the middle of a good book, playing video games, creating art, and enjoying various tabletop role-playing games (like DnD, Vampire: The Masquerade, Pathfinder, and others) with my friends - all while being the choice napping spot for Thumper.
